A magnetic adaptor with a 1/4" socket that allows hex sockets to be fitted to drill drivers and impact drivers. The magnet stops sockets from falling out during use, improving assembly efficiency.
A built-in neodymium magnet holds 1/4" hex sockets in place without the need for a retaining ring. This removes the risk of losing a socket when working in hard-to-reach places or overhead.
A material known for its increased hardness and resistance to twisting. The addition of vanadium improves its strength under the dynamic loads generated by impact drivers.
The 6.35 mm hex standard fits all drills, screwdrivers and impact drivers with a quick-release chuck. Compatible with most power tools on the market.
A length that allows work in recesses and mounting holes. It provides enough clearance between the tool chuck and the work surface, making it easier to reach screws in furniture or installations.

The adaptor works with cordless and corded drill drivers, impact drivers and drill bit adaptors. Before buying, check that your tool has a 1/4" hex quick-release chuck or a drill chuck that can grip a hex shank.
Before first use, check that the socket is secure in the driver's chuck by giving it a gentle pull. During use the magnet holds the socket in place, but heavy side loads can cause it to tilt. In such cases it is advisable to hold the socket with your hand.
After use, it is worth cleaning metal swarf and dust off the magnetic surface, as these can weaken the pull force. Do not store the adaptor near power tools with sensitive electronic components, as the strong magnet may affect how they work.
When using an impact driver, make sure the adaptor is properly seated, as vibration can loosen it. Chrome vanadium steel needs no extra maintenance, but lubricating the shank from time to time extends the life of both the adaptor and the tool.
