Measuring wheel KRAFT&DELE KD10423
A mechanical measuring wheel designed for measuring distances over open ground. It works by rolling the wheel along the surface — each rotation corresponds to a fixed distance increment recorded by a five-digit analogue counter. The device requires no power supply or electronic calibration.

Five-digit analogue counter
The measurement is displayed mechanically on the counter dial without the use of batteries. It can be read in any lighting conditions, and the absence of electronics eliminates the risk of failure caused by a flat battery.
0.5% accuracy
This means that when measuring 100 m, the maximum error is 50 cm. This level of accuracy is sufficient for supporting surveying work, setting out routes, estimating plot areas and most construction and roadworks applications.
0.1 m resolution
The smallest readable unit of measurement is 10 cm. This allows distances to be determined precisely in work where accuracy to the nearest metre is not sufficient, for example when positioning infrastructure components.

Use and maintenance
Before starting a measurement, reset the counter to zero using the reset button. Measure over as even a surface as possible — uneven ground, stones and soft surfaces (such as long grass or loose soil) can cause the wheel to slip and affect the accuracy of the reading.
After use, clean mud and debris from the wheel and mechanism. The analogue counter requires no lubrication or adjustment under normal operating conditions. Store the device in a dry place, away from aggressive chemical substances.
