Mechanical measuring wheel with an electronic distance-counting system. The device records the distance covered through the rotation of the wheel rolling along the surface — the measurement result is shown digitally on the LCD screen. The measurement result is displayed as digits on a clear LCD screen. The reading is unambiguous and requires no conversion — the device shows the value directly in metres with a resolution of 0.1 m.
Range up to 99,999.9 m
The counter handles measurements from 0.01 m up to almost 100 km without the need to reset it during operation. This range covers both short plot sections and long road routes.
0.5% accuracy
This means an error of around 5 m for every kilometre measured. A level of accuracy sufficient for construction, roadworks and gardening applications, where survey-grade precision is not required.
Metal supporting stand
Allows the device to be stood upright during breaks in work or when reading the measurement. Removes the need to lay the wheel on the ground.
How it works
A measuring wheel works by converting the rotations of a wheel of known dimensions into distance. A wheel with a diameter of 159 mm has a circumference of approximately 499 mm, which means that one full rotation corresponds to roughly 0.5 m of distance covered. An electronic converter counts the rotations and converts them into metres, displaying the result on the LCD screen. Measurement accuracy depends on how even the surface is — on uneven or soft ground the result may carry a greater error than the stated 0.5%.
