A double-sided cutter for precise cutting of plasterboard, fitted with steel guide rails and a twin trapezoid blade system. The cutting width can be adjusted from 20 to 600 mm.
The twin-blade design with 18 mm blades scores the board on both sides in a single pass. Trapezoid blades are durable and can be resharpened repeatedly, which extends the service life of the tool.
The sturdy steel guide rail design ensures stability during cutting and prevents flexing when working with larger boards. The rails keep the cut parallel along the full length of the cutter.
The guide handle runs on bearings, which minimises resistance as it slides along the rail. This increases cutting precision and reduces effort when working with longer sections.
The centimetre scale marked on the rail allows the cutting width to be set quickly and accurately without additional measuring tools. This makes repeat cuts easier when producing multiple pieces.

Before starting work, make sure the board thickness does not exceed 12 mm. Attempting to cut thicker materials may damage the blades or result in an imprecise cut. For boards thicker than 12 mm, other cutting methods are recommended.
18 mm trapezoid blades are a standard replaceable item available from most tool shops. Replacing blunt blades regularly ensures a clean cut without tearing the board's paper facing. Blades should be replaced once increased resistance during cutting or frayed edges are noticed.
The steel guide rails should be cleaned periodically to remove plaster dust, which can affect how smoothly the handle moves. The bearings in the guide handle do not require lubrication, but should be protected from excessive dust. After finishing work, wipe the rails with a dry cloth.
