A hand tool for cutting plasterboard by double-sided scoring. Two cutting wheels work simultaneously on both sides of the board, which removes the need to run the tool twice and shortens the time needed to make a straight cut.
Two cutting wheels positioned opposite each other score the plasterboard on both sides at once in a single pass. This makes the cutting line symmetrical, and the risk of the board snapping unevenly is far lower than with single-sided scoring.
The tool handles the most common plasterboard thicknesses used in construction: standard 12.5 mm boards as well as thinner (9.5 mm) and thicker (15 mm) variants. Before use, make sure the thickness of the board you are working with falls within this range.
The handle is designed for a stable grip while guiding the tool along the cutting line. A secure grip translates into a straight score, which has a direct effect on the quality of the edge once the board is snapped.
The working parts are made of metal, which ensures the cutting wheels last under intensive use. The plastic housing keeps the weight of the tool down — at approximately 0.85 kg it can be used comfortably for extended periods without excessive fatigue.
The value of 119 mm defines the maximum distance by which the cutting wheels can be set back from the guide edge of the tool. In practice, this sets the greatest width of strip that can be cut from the board in a single pass without using an additional guide.

Before cutting, mark the cutting line on the board and place a guide or straight edge against it. Run the cutter along the marked line, pressing the cutting wheels against the surface of the board. Once the score has been made, snap the board by hand along the groove and then cut the paper on the other side. The cutting wheels should be checked periodically for blunting — a blunt wheel requires more pressure and reduces the straightness of the cut.
The tool is intended solely for plasterboard. It is not suitable for cutting cement-fibre boards, OSB, plywood or other building materials. Before purchase, verify the thickness of the boards you use — the 9.5–15 mm range covers the vast majority of plasterboard available on the market, but non-standard thicknesses (e.g. 6 mm or 18 mm) are beyond the capabilities of this tool.
