A professional cutter with an aluminium body for precise, double-sided cutting of plasterboard from 6 mm to 16 mm thick. The tool is designed for installation work on walls, ceilings and plasterboard structures.
The body is made from aluminium profiles, which keeps the tool lightweight while maintaining a rigid structure. Aluminium does not rust and withstands years of use on site, where it is exposed to moisture and mortar.
A maximum cutting width of 60 cm allows standard plasterboard to be trimmed without repositioning the tool several times. This matches the typical board sizes used in construction — a standard board is 120 cm wide, so it can be cut in half in a single pass.
The double-sided cutting function means the tool scores the board from both sides at once, or allows work in either direction. This removes the need to score, snap and trim the edge, which shortens working time and produces cleaner cut edges.
The integrated metric and imperial scale allows direct measurement and marking of the cutting line without additional measuring tools. The imperial scale is useful when working from technical documentation in imperial units, which is common in the construction industry.

The set includes 10 spare blades, so the tool can be used for a long time without buying additional spare parts. Blades should be replaced once they noticeably lose their sharpness — a blunt blade requires more pressure and leaves ragged edges. Regular replacement extends the service life of the whole tool and reduces the risk of damaging the boards.
Personal protective equipment should be worn when using the cutter: protective gloves to prevent cuts from the blades and safety glasses to protect the eyes from plaster dust. Guide the tool with a steady motion and avoid sudden jerks, which can cause the blade to slip.
The cutter handles all standard plasterboard thicknesses used in construction: 6 mm (flexible boards), 9.5 mm (ceilings), 12.5 mm (walls — the most common), 16 mm (reinforced). Before starting work, check the board thickness and make sure it falls within the 6-16 mm range.
