PTO Shaft 75 cm GEKO G72303
Tube-type PTO shaft for transmitting drive between a tractor and an implement. The telescopic design with universal joints provides flexibility in the connection while maintaining high torsional strength.
Technical features
Telescopic design
The shaft extends from 750 mm to 870 mm (including the safety chain). It compensates for changes in the distance between the tractor and the implement during work, particularly over uneven ground or while manoeuvring.
500 Nm torque
Maximum torsional load corresponding to 25–45 hp at typical PTO speeds (540 rpm). Sufficient for medium-sized cultivation, maintenance and mowing implements.
Universal joints 27 × 74.5 mm
Standard universal joints with a 27 mm journal diameter and 74.5 mm span. These dimensions determine compatibility with the PTO connection points on the tractor and the implement – check them before fitting.
Tube type
The tubular construction of the outer telescopic section provides torsional stiffness at a low weight. The tube profile protects the inner shaft from contamination and mechanical damage.

Checking compatibility
Before buying, measure the journal diameter and the joint span at the tractor PTO and at the implement input connection. The shaft fits connections measuring 27 × 74.5 mm. Also make sure that the shaft length matches the distance between the connection points at the maximum turning angle during work.
Operation and maintenance
Before first use, check that the telescopic movement is free and grease the inner profile with lithium grease. The safety chains must always be attached to the appropriate anchor points to prevent the guards from rotating.
During operation, avoid exceeding the maximum joint articulation angle (typically 25–30 degrees), which can lead to accelerated wear and vibration. Check the condition of the universal joints regularly – play and excessive heating indicate that replacement is needed.
After every working season, dismantling, cleaning and greasing all moving parts is recommended. The universal joints require greasing every 8–10 hours of operation, or more often in dusty conditions.
