The KD906 is a 2LB class rubber dead blow mallet with an internal chamber filled with steel shot that absorbs the recoil energy after impact. The design eliminates the characteristic bounce of the head, giving greater control over the force and direction of the blow during assembly, installation and tiling work.
A metal chamber filled with steel shot sits inside the head. On impact the shot shifts and absorbs the kinetic energy, preventing the head from bouncing back. The result: the blow lands exactly where it was aimed, with no risk of the tool moving out of control.
The rubber striking face leaves no marks or scratches on the workpiece. It is ideal for laying tiles, fitting aluminium profiles, adjusting fitted machine parts and anywhere the working surface needs to be protected.
The handle has a non-slip coating that keeps the tool firmly in your grip at different striking angles. The overall length of 32.5 cm allows the mallet to be used freely with one or both hands.
The combination of the shot fill and the rubber head effectively dampens the vibrations transmitted to the hand and wrist. This matters during repeated blows in longer jobs, for example when tiling a large area.

The 2LB weight class (approx. 900 g for the head alone) places the KD906 as a tool for jobs requiring a moderate striking force with full control. For lighter finishing work, a 1LB class is sufficient, while heavy assembly work on machinery calls for 3LB classes and above. The 5.5 cm head diameter allows precise strikes on smaller components without risking damage to adjacent surfaces.
