A stainless steel spatula designed for applying and smoothing filling compounds, plaster and adhesives. The 450 mm working length ensures efficient work on medium and large surfaces during finishing work.
A stainless steel blade resists corrosion, which eliminates the problem of rust when working with water-based materials. Stainless steel keeps its smooth surface throughout its service life, which translates directly into the quality of the finish.
A width of 450 mm strikes a balance between manoeuvrability and productivity. It allows larger wall areas to be smoothed efficiently while keeping full control of the tool. It performs well on both walls and ceilings.
The absence of notches means the blade is intended for smoothing filling and plaster compounds. A smooth blade leaves an even surface without marks, which reduces the need for additional sanding. It is used in the final finishing stages.
The handle design ensures even pressure distribution during use. The ergonomic shape reduces hand fatigue during prolonged use, which matters when filling larger areas.

Before first use, clean the blade of any factory protective coating. Check that the working edge is straight and free from damage. The blade should be completely dry before you start work.
Apply the filling compound at an angle of 30-45 degrees to the surface, gradually reducing the angle as you smooth. Even pressure along the full length of the blade ensures a consistent layer thickness. For final smoothing, increase the angle to 60-70 degrees.
Remove any remaining material immediately after finishing work, before it sets. Rinse the blade with water or a suitable solvent, depending on the type of material used. Dry it thoroughly before storing, even though stainless steel is corrosion-resistant.
Store the spatula flat or hanging up to prevent the blade from deforming. Avoid storing it under heavy objects. Check the straightness of the working edge periodically, particularly after intensive use.
