A 3-metre tape measure with a steel blade protected by a nylon coating. A measuring tool with Class II accuracy, fitted with an ABS case with rubberised inserts and a sliding magnetic hook.
Technical features of the YATO tape measure
Nylon-coated steel blade
The steel blade is coated with a clear layer of nylon that increases resistance to scratching and abrasion during everyday use. The protective coating extends blade life when it frequently comes into contact with rough surfaces and protects against corrosion.
Class II measuring accuracy
The Class II accuracy marking to the EN standard defines the maximum permissible measuring error. For a 3-metre blade, this means a deviation not exceeding ±1.5 mm, which is sufficient for most construction and assembly applications.
Sliding hook with neodymium magnets
The sliding hook compensates for its own thickness during internal and external measurements. The built-in magnets allow it to be attached securely to steel profiles, pipes or metal components without the need to hold it in place.
ABS case with rubberised grip

Clean the blade regularly with a dry cloth to remove dust and dirt. Avoid contact with moisture and corrosive substances. Store in a dry place at room temperature. Check the condition of the protective coating and the legibility of the scale.
