A sanitary unit designed to discharge waste water from a toilet, washbasin, shower tray or bath where gravity drainage to the sewer is not possible. Fitted with a macerating mechanism and a 600W motor, it transports waste up to 80 metres horizontally or 8 metres vertically.
Cutting blades mounted in the cutting chamber mechanically macerate solid waste before it is pumped into the pipework. This allows waste water to be transported through small-diameter pipes (typically 32-40 mm) over long distances without the risk of blockage.
The unit starts automatically once the waste water in the tank reaches a set level. The pressure switch detects the rise in water pressure and switches the pump on, which eliminates the need for manual operation. A manual start button on the lid is also available.
A horizontal run of 80 metres is the maximum distance the pump will transport waste water against minimal vertical resistance. The 8-metre delivery head defines the floor level to which waste can be pumped. For combined installations (horizontal + vertical), use the following conversion: 1 metre vertically ≈ 10 metres horizontally.
The design allows three sanitary appliances to be connected at the same time: the main top inlet (typically a toilet) and two side inlets (washbasin, shower, bath). A flow rate of 270 l/min is sufficient for all points operating simultaneously.

The unit is mounted directly behind the toilet pan, connecting the toilet outlet to the top inlet of the pump. Additional appliances (washbasin, shower tray) are connected to the side inlets. The pump outlet is run in pipe of at least 32 mm diameter to the nearest drainage point. The installation must be carried out with a minimum 1% fall in the direction of flow. The non-return valves (supplied with the kit) are fitted on the discharge pipe to prevent waste water flowing back.
The maximum waste water temperature is 65°C. This means that appliances discharging hot water (washbasin, shower) can be connected, but direct discharge of boiling water should be avoided. Short flows of hot water from a shower or tap do not pose a risk to the pump.
The pump starts automatically once the tank fills. It can be started manually with the button on the lid if required (for example, to empty the tank before maintenance). The unit does not require regular maintenance, although periodic checks of joint tightness and non-return valve operation are recommended. Non-degradable items (wet wipes, cotton wool, nappies) must not be flushed down the toilet, as they can block the macerating mechanism.
