Professional 1/2 inch drive torque wrench designed for the precise tightening of threaded fasteners to a controlled torque. Used in automotive workshops, mechanical repair shops and industry.
The wide torque range allows wheel bolts (typically 110-120 Nm for passenger cars), cylinder heads, suspension components and fasteners in industrial machinery to be tightened. The range covers the typical values used in automotive and mechanical work.
The 1/2" (12.7 mm) drive size is the standard in automotive workshops. It is compatible with the sockets used for wheels, engines and undercarriage components. It allows high torques to be transmitted without the risk of damaging the joint.
Alloy steel offers greater mechanical strength and resistance to deformation than carbon steel. This material provides durability of the adjustment mechanism and maintains the tool's calibration during intensive use.
The locking system prevents the set torque from being accidentally changed during work. Once the value has been set on the scale, the lock prevents the adjustment handle from turning, eliminating the risk of incorrect tightening during use.

Before starting work, set the required torque on the scale and lock the mechanism. During tightening, hold the wrench perpendicular to the axis of the bolt, applying even pressure. Once the set torque is reached, the wrench emits a characteristic click – the signal to stop tightening. After use, it is advisable to set the wrench to the lowest torque value to relieve the internal spring.
Torque wrenches require periodic calibration – once every 12 months under intensive use, or after approximately 5,000 operating cycles, is recommended. The tool should be stored in the supplied case, in a dry place, set to the lowest torque value. Avoid knocks, dropping and using the wrench as an ordinary tool for loosening bolts.
