Professional workshop timing tool kit for locking and setting the camshaft timing on 2.0 FSI and 2.0 TFSI petrol engines from the VAG group. It allows the timing belt to be replaced safely and the timing system to be serviced on VW, Audi, Seat and Škoda vehicles from the 2003-2011 model years.
Features of the engine timing tool kit
Precise camshaft positioning
The kit locks the camshafts and crankshaft precisely at TDC, which eliminates the risk of the timing skipping a tooth during belt replacement. Accurate alignment protects the valves from contact with the pistons in interference engines.
Carbon steel construction

Using and maintaining the tools
Timing tools must be used in line with the procedures that ensure safety and long tool life:
Before each use, clean the working surfaces of the locking tools to remove oil contamination that could cause slipping. Insert the locking tools gently, without forcing them — a correct fit does not require a hammer. After the job is finished, clean and dry the components and protect them with a thin film of protective oil before storage.
Do not turn the crankshaft while the camshafts are locked. Attempting to rotate it with the camshafts locked can damage both the tools and the engine components. On TFSI engines, pay particular attention to the correct sequence for locking the timing chain components.
