Impact socket designed for use with pneumatic and electric impact wrenches. Made from chrome vanadium steel and engineered for intensive use in workshop conditions.
Features of the 1/2" 27 mm impact socket
Chrome vanadium (CrV) steel
A material with enhanced resistance to impact and torsion. The chromium-vanadium alloy delivers higher surface hardness while maintaining a flexible core, which reduces the risk of cracking under dynamic loads.
1/2-inch drive
The standard used in professional pneumatic and electric tools. The 12.5 mm square drive provides a stable connection with a ratchet or impact wrench, minimising play and increasing the torque transferred to the fastener.
27 mm size
The spanner size matching the diameter of the nut or bolt. The 27 mm socket is used in hydraulic installations, chassis components and industrial machinery. Compatibility with the technical documentation of the equipment being serviced should always be verified.
Impact design
Reinforced walls and optimised internal geometry absorb the impact pulses generated by pneumatic wrenches. The socket retains its dimensions and tolerances even under cyclic loads exceeding 1000 Nm.

Compatibility check
Before purchase, check the nut size on the equipment to be serviced. A 27 mm socket corresponds to M18 bolts and selected imperial-standard fasteners. For car wheels, the size may vary by manufacturer – typical values are 17 mm, 19 mm, 21 mm or 23 mm.
Use and maintenance
Impact sockets must be used exclusively with impact tools – manual wrenches may not transmit sufficient torque, and excessive leverage loads will damage the hex socket. Before each use, check the condition of the internal edges – rounded or worn surfaces cause slipping and damage to the bolt.
After use, clean the socket of contamination and protect it with a thin layer of oil. Storage in a damp environment may lead to surface corrosion despite the anti-corrosion treatment. Impact sockets should not be used with flexible extensions – these can absorb part of the impact energy and reduce working efficiency.
