A complete polishing accessory kit with 5 foam pads, a polishing bonnet and an M14 backing pad. Designed for use with angle polishers in bodyshops and car detailing.
Features of the YATO YT-47933 polishing kit
180 mm diameter
The pad size provides an optimum working surface for polishing larger areas of car paint. The 180 mm diameter allows efficient work while maintaining control over the polishing process.
M14 thread and 8 mm adapter
The standard M14 thread ensures compatibility with most angle polishers available on the market. The supplied 8 mm adapter also allows the kit to be fitted to drills with a keyless chuck.
Maximum speed 6000 rpm
This parameter defines the upper speed limit at which the pads can be used safely. The 6000 rpm limit prevents overheating of the paint and damage to the accessories during intensive work.
Complete 8-piece kit

Use and maintenance
Checking tool compatibility
Before fitting, make sure that the polisher or drill has an M14 thread or an 8 mm keyless chuck. Also check that the tool does not exceed the maximum speed of 6000 rpm - this value is usually given in the tool's specification or on the rating plate.
Fitting the foam pads
The pads are attached to the backing pad by pressing them onto the hook-and-loop working surface. Before starting work, check that the pad is evenly attached and does not wobble. A loosely attached pad may come off during use.
Cleaning and storage
After finishing work, clean any remaining polishing compound off the pads under running water and leave them to dry in a well-ventilated place. Wet or damp pads may become deformed and lose their properties. The kit should be stored in a dry place, away from sources of heat.
Personal protective equipment
When polishing, it is advisable to wear safety goggles (protection against splashing compound), a dust mask (to limit inhalation of polishing dust) and work gloves. Work should be carried out in a well-ventilated room.
