Professional rebar cutters designed for cutting steel rods up to 10 mm in diameter. Fitted with chrome-molybdenum steel jaws and built for intensive use on construction sites and in reinforcement workshops.
The 600 mm handles provide ample mechanical leverage, which means less force is needed to cut through a rod. The longer the handles, the greater the torque and the easier it is to cut harder materials.
Chrome-molybdenum steel (CrMo) is characterised by increased resistance to wear and deformation. The addition of chromium increases surface hardness, while molybdenum improves resistance to the dynamic loads encountered during cutting.
The maximum diameter of the rod being cut is 10 mm, which matches standard reinforcing bars used in construction. Exceeding this value may damage the blades or deform the jaws.
Specialist jaw geometry designed for cutting steel rods. Unlike general-purpose cutters, the rebar design concentrates the cutting force at a single point, ensuring a clean cut without crushing the material.

Before starting work, make sure the rod diameter does not exceed 10 mm. Rods of a larger diameter require cutters with longer handles or hydraulic cutting tools. These cutters are designed for carbon steel – hardened materials may damage the blades.
Before first use, check that the blades are sharp and that the jaws close correctly. While working, the rod should be positioned perpendicular to the plane of the jaws and as close to the pivot as possible – this ensures the most efficient cut.
After finishing work, clean metal residue from the jaws and protect them against corrosion with a thin layer of oil. Regular lubrication of the pivot extends the life of the tool and keeps the handles moving smoothly.
If the blades become noticeably blunt, they can be re-sharpened by a specialist service centre. Do not use the cutters on materials harder than carbon steel – this may permanently damage the jaws.
Wear work gloves and safety goggles when cutting rods. Cut rod ends can be sharp and hot. Store the tool out of reach of children and protect it from moisture.
