A polishing pad with a hard foam structure, designed for polishing work that requires intensive removal of paint defects. The hook-and-loop attachment system allows quick pad changes when working with a rotary or dual-action polisher.
Features of the Hard Polishing Pad
Hard foam structure
Hard foam is characterised by low flexibility and high density. This structure enables effective removal of deeper scratches, holograms and dullness from the paint during polishing with highly abrasive compounds. Recommended for the first stage of paint correction.
Dimensions 130x150x25 mm
The pad size is suited to polishing medium and large flat surfaces. The 25 mm thickness provides adequate cushioning during work while maintaining the rigidity needed for intensive polishing. The format is compatible with most 150 mm polishers.
Hook & loop attachment
The hook-and-loop system allows tool-free pad changes in seconds. The secure attachment eliminates the risk of the pad coming off during work at high speeds. Compatible with 125–150 mm hook-and-loop backing plates.
Maximum speed 3000 rpm
A parameter defining the maximum rotational speed at which the pad retains full efficiency and safe use. Exceeding this value may lead to overheating of the foam and damage to its structure. The optimum working speed is 1500–2500 rpm.

Choosing a polishing compound
Hard polishing pads are used with highly or medium abrasive compounds (cut or heavy cut compounds). Combining a hard pad with a fine-grained compound will not deliver the expected correction results. For finishing and achieving a deep gloss, use a soft pad with a finishing compound.
Use and Maintenance
Before first use, lightly moisten the pad with water, which makes it easier to spread the compound and reduces its consumption. During work, regularly clean the pad with a brush or compressed air to remove accumulated compound and contaminants. Once polishing is finished, rinse the pad thoroughly in warm water with a mild detergent, then dry it in a well-ventilated place away from heat sources.
Checking compatibility with your polisher: verify the diameter of the hook-and-loop backing plate on your polisher. The 130x150 mm pad works with 125–150 mm backing plates. For polishers with smaller backing plates (80–100 mm), use pads of correspondingly smaller dimensions.
The lifespan of the pad depends on the intensity of use and proper maintenance. Signs of wear include loss of resilience, cracking of the foam structure or hard-to-remove dirt. Replace a worn pad with a new one to maintain polishing quality.
