A mounted flap wheel designed for working on components with complex shapes — concavities, radii and hard-to-reach recesses. The shank-mounted design allows it to be fitted in a drill or die grinder.
The P100 grade corresponds to an abrasive grain diameter of approximately 125 µm. It is used to remove marks left by coarser sanding (P60-P80) and to smooth surfaces before finishing. It removes scratches and unevenness without removing too much material.
The abrasive flaps are arranged radially around the shank, giving the wheel flexibility during use. As a result, the wheel conforms to the profile of the workpiece, which is important when sanding edges, radii and irregular surfaces.
A 6 mm shank diameter is the standard for hand-held power tools. The wheel mounts directly in the chuck of a drill, die grinder or flexible shaft. No additional adapters are required.
The permissible working speed of 38,200 rpm matches the parameters of drills and die grinders. Before use, check that the tool does not exceed this limit — exceeding it can damage the wheel or cause it to burst.

The wheel works with drills, die grinders and flexible shafts fitted with a 6 mm chuck or collet. Before mounting, check the maximum speed of the tool — it must not exceed 38,200 rpm. With variable-speed drills, medium settings are recommended for better control of the sanding process.
Before starting work, secure the wheel in the tool chuck, making sure the shank is tightened correctly. When sanding, use medium speeds and moderate pressure — excessive pressure shortens the life of the wheel and reduces the quality of the finish.
During use, the abrasive flaps wear naturally, exposing fresh layers of abrasive material. When the wheel no longer sands effectively despite showing no visible damage, this means the abrasive grain is spent. The wheel should then be replaced.
After finishing work, clean the tool of swarf and dust. Flap wheels do not require special storage conditions — protect them from moisture and mechanical damage.
