Universal 200 mm pincers with an induction-hardened head, designed for pulling nails and cutting wire and electrical cable in the workshop and on site.
The induction hardening process increases the hardness of the jaws' working surface to approximately 55–60 HRC, which provides resistance to wear when cutting hard materials and pulling nails out of wood. The head withstands repeated loads without deforming.
The 200 mm size strikes a balance between leverage and precision. Pincers of this length deliver sufficient force to pull nails up to 100 mm long and allow work in the confined spaces typical of assembly and electrical jobs.
The cutting edges of the jaws allow steel wire up to approximately 2–3 mm in diameter to be cut, along with larger cross-section copper cable. The blade geometry ensures a clean cut without flattening the material.
The design of the pincers combines the functions of several tools: nail pullers, cutting pliers and assembly pliers. This reduces the number of tools required in a basic workshop kit.

When pulling nails, hold the pincers perpendicular to the surface and use the lever effect by rotating the tool around its fulcrum. When cutting wire, place the material as close as possible to the pivot of the jaws, where the cutting force is greatest. Do not use the pincers as a hammer or as a lever for heavy components – this exceeds the strength limits of the tool.
After use, clean any material residue off the jaws and lubricate the pivot with a few drops of machine oil. Storing the tool in a dry place prevents corrosion of the working surfaces. Regularly checking the play in the joint helps maintain the tool's working precision.
