Steel post box with weather protection. Made from galvanised steel and fitted with a protected letter slot and a ventilation system that prevents moisture build-up.
Technical features
Galvanised steel
A material coated with a layer of zinc, which protects against corrosion and the effects of rainfall. The zinc coating forms a barrier that protects the steel core from oxidation, extending the service life of the post box outdoors.
Protected letter slot
The letter slot in the top of the post box is fitted with a hinged flap. The design prevents rainwater from entering the interior while mail is being posted.
Passive ventilation
Ventilation holes allow natural air circulation inside the post box. This allows excess moisture, which can condense on mail when temperatures fluctuate, to escape.
Address window with viewing pane
The transparent insert in the door serves two purposes: it holds an address label and allows you to check whether there is any mail without opening the post box.

Design features
Door opening system
The door opens outwards towards the user (to the front), which makes it easier to reach the mail and prevents the contents from falling out when the door is opened. The design means the door does not have to be held open while mail is removed.
Fixing hardware
The post box has factory-drilled fixing holes, which should be used to secure it permanently to the mounting surface. Wall plugs are included, selected for installation in typical building materials (brick, concrete, plaster).
Use and maintenance
Before installation, check that the chosen location provides easy access for both the postman and the user. The post box should be mounted at a height that allows mail to be posted and collected comfortably (recommended slot height: 120–150 cm from ground level).
The galvanised surface requires no special maintenance. It is worth checking the condition of the paint coating periodically, particularly in areas prone to scratching. If the coating is damaged, the affected area should be treated with anti-corrosion paint.
The lock should be lubricated periodically with a suitable lubricant, especially after the winter, when the mechanism may have been exposed to moisture and low temperatures.
