Rotating Vice 125 mm (5") Hobby Type GEKO G01031
Rotating bench vice with a 360° swivel function, designed for workshop and hobby work. Fitted with hardened steel jaws with anti-slip serrations and an integrated anvil.
Technical features
Steel jaws with cross-cut serrations
Hardened steel with special serrations prevents workpieces from slipping during machining. The cross-cut serrations improve grip in two planes, which matters when holding parts of irregular shape.
Maximum jaw opening 85 mm
The parameter defining the maximum thickness of a workpiece that can be clamped between the jaws. The 85 mm value allows work on typical workshop items – profiles, tubes, flat bars or wooden strips.
360° swivel mechanism
The vice base allows full rotation around the vertical axis, so the workpiece can be set at any angle without having to re-clamp it. Useful for work requiring access from different sides.
Integrated anvil 63 × 63 mm
The flat surface on the rear of the body enables light blacksmithing work – straightening, riveting, peening. A working surface sufficient for minor hammering operations.

Installation and use
Installation requirements
The vice should be mounted on a stable workbench top at least 30 mm thick using bolts through the holes in the base (spacing 95 × 95 × 135 mm). Before mounting, check that the worktop can withstand the dynamic loads generated during work. Mounting no more than 10 cm from the edge of the worktop is recommended to ensure maximum stability.
Maintenance
The screw mechanism requires periodic lubrication (every 3–6 months with intensive use). The jaws should be protected from impacts that could damage the serrations. After finishing work, slightly opening the jaws is recommended, as this reduces tension in the mechanism. The swivel mechanism should be checked periodically and the locking screw tightened as necessary.
