Impact socket designed for use with pneumatic, electric and cordless impact wrenches. Manufactured from CR-MO chrome molybdenum steel, which provides resistance to the extreme impact loads encountered in professional workshop and industrial applications.
A material with increased resistance to dynamic loads. The addition of molybdenum increases the flexibility of the steel, so the socket absorbs impact energy without cracking. The chrome molybdenum alloy retains its mechanical properties even under repeated cycles of impact loading, which is crucial when working with pneumatic and cordless impact wrenches.
The internal hex distributes force evenly across all the edges of the bolt or nut. It minimises the risk of rounding off the corners of fasteners, which is particularly important when working with rusted or overtightened joints. The precisely machined profile eliminates play and slipping during use.
The 12.7 mm (1/2") mounting socket is the standard for professional workshop tools. It ensures compatibility with most of the impact wrenches, ratchets and extension bars available on the market. The retaining pin hole allows the socket to be fixed securely to the tool during intensive work.

If the socket is to be used with an impact wrench (pneumatic, electric or cordless), CR-MO steel is mandatory. CR-V sockets can crack under impact loads, which creates a risk for the user and damages fasteners. CR-MO steel is the standard in professional workshop applications.
The socket is designed for use with 1/2" drive impact wrenches. Before starting work, check that the retaining pin is correctly seated in the socket hole and the tool's drive square. The play between the drive square and the socket's drive end should not exceed 0.2 mm – greater play indicates wear and the need to replace the component.
Inspect the socket before each use – cracks, chipped profile edges or deformation mean the tool must be taken out of service. The socket must be fitted onto the bolt or nut to the full depth of the profile. Working with a partially engaged socket will damage both the tool and the fastener.
After use, clean the socket of dirt, oil and rust. Wire brushes and solvents can be used for cleaning. The drive end should be lubricated periodically with lithium grease or machine oil, which prevents corrosion and makes fitting onto the wrench easier. Storing the tool in a dry place extends its service life.
