Bench-mounted rotary shears designed for fitting to a workbench. Intended for precision cutting of steel, stainless steel and aluminium sheet in straight and curved lines.
The shears are designed for permanent mounting on a workbench. Secure mounting eliminates vibration during cutting and allows the material to be guided precisely with both hands, which increases accuracy and safety at work.
The cutting element consists of two wheels made from special high-grade steel. The wheels rotate during cutting, which distributes wear across the entire circumference and extends tool life compared with guillotine shears.
The maximum cutting thickness depends on material hardness: 1.6 mm for cold-rolled steel, 1.2 mm for V-2A stainless steel, 2.0 mm for aluminium and non-ferrous metals. These values result from the differing shear resistance of the materials.
An overall length of 120 mm and a body height of 110 mm (excluding the lever) keep the footprint on the workbench small. The 29 cm operating lever allows sufficient force to be applied without excessive effort.

The shears must be secured to a stable workbench using mounting bolts. The mounting surface must be flat and thick enough to withstand the forces generated during cutting. Before first use, check that the cutting wheels are correctly aligned and that the clearance between them is properly set.
The cutting wheels require periodic lubrication with machine oil, particularly after cutting materials that generate intense friction. Regular maintenance prevents premature wear and ensures smooth cutting. Check the condition of the wheel blades – if they are chipped or excessively worn, they must be replaced.
Do not exceed the maximum cutting thicknesses specified for each material. Attempting to cut sheet that is too thick may damage the cutting wheels or the shear mechanism. If in doubt, check the sheet thickness with a calliper before starting the cut.
