An endless sanding belt measuring 100 x 610 mm with P40 grit, designed for sanding wood, metal and plastics in belt sanders. The pack contains 5 belts made with a cloth backing and aluminium oxide abrasive grain.
A P40 grit is a coarse sanding belt intended for aggressive material removal, levelling out unevenness and initial sanding. It is used in the first stage of processing, before moving on to finer grits.
Aluminium oxide grains are characterised by their hardness and wear resistance, which translates into working efficiency and a long belt life. This material performs well on both hardwood and non-ferrous metals.
The cloth backing gives the belt flexibility and resistance to tearing during use. The endless construction eliminates the risk of the joint splitting, which improves user safety.
A standard size compatible with popular belt sanders used in woodworking and metalworking workshops. Before purchasing, check the belt dimensions in the operating manual of your sander.

The 100 x 610 mm sanding belt works with belt sanders that have the appropriate roller dimensions. Before purchasing, check the technical documentation of your machine to confirm that the belt dimensions match the required specifications. A mismatch in dimensions can damage the belt or the sander.
P40 sanding belts wear out faster when working on hard materials and during prolonged use. Signs of wear include reduced sanding efficiency, overheating of the workpiece surface and visible damage to the abrasive grains. Replace the belt once these symptoms appear.
Storing sanding belts in a dry place, away from sources of moisture and direct sunlight, extends their service life. Moisture can weaken the cloth backing and reduce the adhesion of the abrasive grains.
When working with P40 belts, wear suitable personal protective equipment: safety goggles, a dust mask and gloves. Coarse belts generate large amounts of dust and chips, which can pose a risk to the respiratory system and eyes.
