Professional HEX impact socket made from CR-MO chrome-molybdenum steel. Designed for intensive use with impact wrenches in automotive workshops and industry, and for steel structure assembly.
Chrome-molybdenum steel offers very high impact resistance and retains its hardness under heavy loads. Its greater flexibility compared with CR-V absorbs vibration and eliminates the risk of cracking during impact use.
The 19 mm internal hexagon provides a precise fit on bolts with a HEX socket. It minimises the risk of slipping and damage to bolt heads, which is crucial when working with high torques.
The 1/2 inch drive is the standard for professional impact tools. It ensures compatibility with most pneumatic and electric impact wrenches used in workshops and industry.
Reinforced construction with a retaining ring and pin hole ensures stability during use. The anti-corrosion coating protects the tool against moisture and chemicals.

The choice of the right material has a direct effect on tool durability and safe working. CR-MO (chrome-molybdenum) steel differs from the widely used CR-V (chrome-vanadium) steel in its mechanical properties.
| Property | CR-MO steel | CR-V steel |
|---|---|---|
| Impact resistance | Very high – designed for impact use | Limited – intended for hand use |
| Flexibility | Higher – absorbs vibration and dynamic loads | Lower – may crack under heavy impacts |
| Hardness | Retains its properties under extreme loads | Good, but without impact resistance |
| Application | Impact wrenches, industry, heavy mechanics | Hand tools, DIY workshops |
Make sure your impact wrench has a 1/2" drive and that you are working with bolts that have a 19 mm HEX socket. The socket is compatible with pneumatic, electric and cordless impact wrenches with the appropriate drive.
Before you start work, check that the socket is correctly seated on the drive of the wrench. Make sure the HEX bit is fully inserted into the bolt socket – partial engagement can damage both the socket and the bolt head.
After use, clean the socket of dust, dirt and oil residue. Store in a dry place, protected from moisture. Despite the anti-corrosion coating, prolonged contact with water or chemicals can shorten the life of the tool.
Regularly check the condition of the HEX bit – worn or damaged edges should be replaced to avoid damaging bolts during use.
