Impact Hex Socket 1/2" H12 CR-MO
Professional impact socket with an internal hex bit (HEX), designed for use with pneumatic and electric impact wrenches. Made from chrome molybdenum CR-MO steel, providing strength under high impact loads.
Technical features
HEX H12 bit
A 12 mm internal hex recess. It fits bolts and screws with a hex socket head (Allen key). The precise fit minimises play and the risk of damaging the fastener's hex recess when working at high torque.
Chrome molybdenum CR-MO steel
A material with increased elasticity and impact resistance. Unlike CR-V (chrome vanadium) steel, CR-MO absorbs vibration and does not crack under the impulse loads generated by impact wrenches. It retains its mechanical properties even after repeated load cycles.
1/2" drive
A 1/2 inch (12.7 mm) drive square – the standard used on medium and high power impact wrenches. Fitted with a retaining pin hole and a retaining ring, which prevent the socket from coming off during use.
Anti-corrosion coating
The surface is protected against corrosion, which extends tool life in workshop conditions – contact with oils, operating fluids and moisture. The coating does not flake off during impact use.

Compatibility and use
Checking compatibility
Before use, make sure the fastener has a 12 mm (H12) HEX recess. The socket fits impact wrenches with a 1/2" drive. Do not use with torque wrenches – impact sockets have play to compensate for vibration, which affects torque measurement accuracy.
The socket is fitted with a retaining pin hole and a retaining ring. Before starting work, check that the socket is correctly seated on the tool's drive – play should not exceed 0.5 mm. Excessive play can damage the drive end.
After use, clean the socket of dirt and protect it from moisture. Regularly check the condition of the HEX recess – worn edges can damage bolt heads. Do not use the socket as a lever extension – this can cause permanent deformation.
