M10 aluminium rivet nuts, cylindrical with a flat flange, designed to create permanent threaded connections in materials with a wall thickness of 1.0 to 3.5 mm. They are used wherever access to the rear of the component being joined is impossible or restricted.
Aluminium has a low self-weight and natural resistance to atmospheric corrosion. Where the weight of a structure or contact with moisture matters, it is a practical alternative to steel. Aluminium rivet nuts are suitable for joining aluminium components without the risk of galvanic corrosion.
Longitudinal knurls on the cylindrical body of the rivet nut bite into the material during setting and prevent the insert from rotating. This stops the joint working loose when the bolt is tightened and improves thread stability under torsional load.
The flat flange bears against the surface of the material and distributes the clamping force evenly during installation. It reduces the risk of the rivet nut being pulled through the hole and provides a stable bearing face for the component being attached.
The set of 50 pieces is supplied in a resealable ZIP bag. This makes storage easier and prevents the pieces from spilling during transport or on-site work. The clear bag allows the stock level to be checked at a glance.

M10 rivet nuts are used wherever a thread is needed in thin material with no access to its rear side. Typical areas of use:
M10 rivet nuts are installed with a rivet nut tool — hand or pneumatic — fitted with an M10 mandrel. Before installation, drill a hole of the correct diameter for the outer diameter of the rivet nut (in accordance with the tool manufacturer's data). The rivet nut is inserted into the hole and its rear section is then set by drawing up the tool mandrel, which expands and clamps the insert onto the material.
The key parameter is the wall thickness of the material at the installation point — for this model it is 1.0–3.5 mm. Material that is too thin or too thick will prevent the rivet nut from setting correctly. Before buying, it is worth measuring the wall thickness with callipers at the point where the insert will be fitted.
